Of rectangular form, with a floral pierced frame surround, supporting two silver topped, hob-nail cut-glass ink bottles with a pen tray, raised on four ball feet, 25 x 17, weight of weighable silver 19.5oz. Sold for £475 at Bonhams
William Aitken Silver Makers Hallmark. It has the silver makers initials, W.A, the assay mark (anchor) for Birmingham, the lion passant for sterling silver and the date letter f for 1905.
