Katsuhide Japanese Silver Maker Hallmarks and Information. Katsuhide was a prominent Japanese artist who produced work during the Meiji Period (1869-1912), late 19th-early 20th century. Katsuhide also created items for The Maruki Works Art Factory which was one of the best studios during the Meiji era. Located in Tokyo, the studio employed many of Japan’s finest artists including Katsuhide.
