Sold for £ 1,375 at Bonhams A PAIR OF VICTORIAN SILVER-MOUNTED CUT-GLASS COLOGNE BOTTLES MARK OF HENRY MATTHEWS, BIRMINGHAM, 1896 The silver cagework mounts pierced with “C” scrolls and flower-heads, the open sides revealing the star-cut glass bottle, the covers engraved with the crest and motto scroll for Leslie 6 5/8 in. (16.8 cm.). Sold for GBP 1,625 at Christies Hallmark for Henry Matthews (HM) found on a silver cruet set. Hallmarked for Birmingham (anchor), 1902 (date letter c).
