Gold Boxes

Gold boxes are some of the most expensive and exquisite boxes to collect. They range from snuff boxes to music boxes and would have been owned by the highest in society. Some would be fairly simple with etched designs while others consisted of miniature paintings, enameling and other decorative features such as gemstones.

Below are some examples and price guides of some gold boxes including a Swiss gold box by Alexander Magnin and an enameled gold box set with pearls.
