Katsuhide also created items for The Maruki Works Art Factory which was one of the best studios during the Meiji era. Located in Tokyo, the studio employed many of Japan’s finest artists including Katsuhide.

Asahi Shoten was a Japanese silver maker. This mark has been found on silver items dating to around the 1920’s to 1940’s. Other silver items found by this maker are dresser jars, cigarette cases, flatware and compacts.
